Fontvieille is located in the heart of Provence and the Alpilles, a stone’s throw from Arles, Château des Baux and Saint-Rémy-de-Provence. It’s the village where
Alphonse Daudet wrote his famous ”Lettres de mon moulin”. It was in this stone setting, on a mound surrounded by olive, pine and holm oak trees, that he found inspiration.

Around the village, various walking trails have been laid out to enable you to appreciate the site and its natural surroundings. If you love history, heritage

In the heart of the village, this authentic 150 m2 stone house is positioned next to the village squares shaded by century-old plane trees where the cicadas sing.

This charming property has been decorated with subtlety, delicacy and sensitivity to make your stay a dream come true.

On arrival, opposite the house, a gate opens onto a welcoming garden, allowing you to discover the building. The entrance is adorned with boxwood.
Inside, a noble through-entrance in the center of the house leads to the south-facing main garden.

On the first floor, you’ll discover a small library/TV lounge, then a second lounge leading to a dining room and a fully-equipped modern kitchen.

Upstairs, you’ll find three bedrooms, each with its own bathroom and shower room.

Outside, on the south-facing terrace, you’ll find a dining area and summer lounge. Everything is protected from the sun and heat by shady trellises.

In the 400 m2 main garden, a number of garden sheds have been preserved and restored.
Tall cypress trees from Provence surround the garden and protect your privacy.
