Furnished Detached Villa To Let At Aurisina Mare, From One To Twelve Months

This free-standing house on the coast of Duino-Aurisina is let furnished for periods of one to twelve months. Two arrangements are possible: a transitional lease, or a foresteria lease, under which a company rents the house to accommodate its staff or guests.

Built in 1976 and recently modernised, the villa offers about 158 sq m over two levels. The windows are new, kitchen and bathrooms have been redone, and the heating runs on a heat pump fed by photovoltaic panels. On the ground floor, a living room with a fireplace leads through large glazed doors to the terrace and the view across the gulf; a separate kitchen, a room that can serve as bedroom or study and a bathroom complete this level. Upstairs are three more bedrooms and two bathrooms, for four bedrooms and three bathrooms in all.

Around the house, roughly 800 sq m of private garden descend in terraces, planted with olive trees, pines and agaves, with a shaded table for eating outside. Above, a private platform facing the gulf holds four parking spaces, which on this stretch of coast counts for a great deal in August.

The sea is reached on foot. From the garden, steps along a right of way descend to the bathing establishment of Le Ginestre, on the pebble beach below the house, and there is a restaurant on the waterfront close by.

Sistiana and the Portopiccolo marina are a few minutes’ drive, Duino Castle and the Rilke Path slightly further. The centre of Trieste is about twenty minutes by car and the airport roughly half an hour.
