1984 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ-60

We love the Toyota Land Cruiser; every generation of the FJ has its own special following

and unique to the customer that drives them. These vehicles were built for a purpose and

with each new generation came more advancements and comforts for the driver and

passengers.

The 1984 Toyota Land Cruiser offered here is a 2-owner example that lived a lavish life in

Oak Harbor, WA until our recent acquisition. It is presented in Freeborn Red over Light

Brown interior with striped pattern seats. Power comes from its 2F inline 6-cylinder engine,

4 speed manual transmission and 4-wheel drive. Yes, it has over 200k miles, but those who

know, know that that is nothing for these very capable and extremely reliable engines and

drivetrains. The motor starts and runs fantastic, the clutch engages properly, the

transmission shifts smoothly, and the brakes stop straight and true. The transfer case

functions properly in and out of 4WD, low and high, and the freewheeling front locking hubs

engage and disengage with ease. We checked the horn, blower motor, blendor, air

conditioning, turn signals, hazards, front and rear wipers, window operation, headlights (hi

and lows) and taillights. All in working order at the time of this inspection.

The exterior paint is old and shows some patina in some areas. There is some minor clear

coat pealing on the hood, and the hood is a little faded. (See photos). The interior is super

clean with some expected minor wear on the driver seat and one small split on the dash.

The Frame and underside is clean, original with nothing to hide; under the hood is tidy.

This truck was used as a daily driver for a week prior to this writing with no issues. It is

ready for immediate use and can be driven with confidence.

These are highly sought after by just about any 4x4 enthusiast and finding ones that are

unmodified are getting difficult to locate. We highly encourage you to act quickly as this very

fine example will not last long.
