The 1964 Dodge Dart GT Convertible is a true representation of mid-60s American style, compact, sporty, and full of character. This particular example is a genuine California car that has clearly benefited from a lifetime in a favorable climate. With its clean lines, tasteful brightwork, and unmistakable Mopar personality, this Dart GT captures the spirit of open-air cruising in a way only a classic convertible can.

Finished in striking red with a black convertible top over a matching black interior, this Dart presents with timeless curb appeal. The restoration completed in 2008 brought the car back to excellent condition, preserving its factory charm while ensuring it remains a reliable and enjoyable driver. The black interior provides a sharp contrast to the vibrant exterior, and the power-operated top allows you to effortlessly transition from coupe-like comfort to top-down freedom in seconds.

Under the hood sits the original 225ci inline 6-cylinder engine, a durable and smooth-running powerplant well known for its longevity and dependable performance. Paired with Dodge’s iconic push-button automatic transmission, this Dart offers a uniquely vintage driving experience that sets it apart from anything on the road today. Power steering further enhances drivability, making it easy to enjoy around town or on weekend cruises.

Purchased by the current owner 20 years ago and carefully maintained since, this Dart GT shows 75,582 miles and reflects long-term stewardship and pride of ownership. It stands as a well-sorted, thoughtfully restored example of a classic American convertible, ready to be enjoyed at local shows, weekend drives, or simply as a nostalgic reminder of a golden era in automotive design.
