The 2023 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon 170 was created as the ultimate evolution of Dodge’s high-performance Challenger lineup and served as the final installment of the brand’s ”Last Call” series. Building upon the original 2018 Challenger SRT Demon, the Demon 170 was engineered specifically for extreme straight-line performance and became the most powerful production Dodge muscle car ever offered. Its supercharged 6.2L HEMI V8 was rated at 1,025 horsepower when running on E85 fuel, with the car designed around maximizing acceleration and drag-strip performance. The Demon 170 also incorporated technology and components developed throughout the Challenger’s performance history, including the Widebody platform, SRT Performance Pages, SRT Power Chiller, line lock, Air Grabber hood, and specialized drivetrain components. With production marking the end of the Challenger’s current generation, the Demon 170 represents a significant chapter in the history of Dodge’s modern muscle cars.
