No Reserve Classics proudly presents this 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS Restomod, a finished and well-sorted build that combines classic muscle-car presence with modern LS power, a driver-focused 5-speed manual transmission, and upgraded braking and steering.
Finished in custom BMW Donington Grey Metallic with black racing stripes and blacked-out bumpers, mirrors, and door handles, this Chevelle has a sharp, aggressive appearance while retaining its unmistakable SS presentation. Staggered American Racing wheels, measuring 18 inches in the front and 20 inches in the rear, complete the modern stance.
Power comes from a 6.0L Vortec LQ4 V8 based on the durable Gen III LS platform. The engine is paired with a Tremec TKX 5-speed manual transmission, Hurst shifter, and Currie 9-inch rear end, delivering a far more engaging driving experience than a traditional automatic-equipped muscle car. Flowmaster mufflers provide the unmistakable sound expected from a classic V8-powered Chevelle.
Modern drivability was a central focus of the build. Master Power four-wheel disc brakes, power steering, and an adjustable steering column provide confident control and comfort on the road. The restoration was completed in two stages, beginning in 2022 and followed by extensive drivetrain, brake, steering, and interior upgrades in 2024.
Inside, the cabin retains a period-inspired presentation while incorporating premium custom materials. Chevelle bucket seats are trimmed in 100% custom leather, matched by a leather rear seat, custom leather-wrapped center console, and fitted leather shifter boot. A hidden Alpine AM/FM/CD/Bluetooth stereo provides modern audio without disrupting the clean, vintage dashboard appearance.
Southern California-based through its two most recent documented owners, this Chevelle is accompanied by documentation for its restoration and upgrades. It is a strong opportunity to own a tastefully finished LS-powered Chevelle SS restomod that is equally ready for weekend drives, local shows, or long-distance cruising.
