This 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air is a beautifully executed restomod that combines iconic Tri-Five styling with modern fuel-injected V8 power, upgraded suspension, four-wheel disc brakes, air conditioning, and a refreshed interior. Finished in a striking red exterior with extensive chrome and stainless trim, the car sits low over polished five-spoke wheels for a classic hot-rod stance without taking away from the unmistakable lines of the ’55 Bel Air.

Power comes from a 5.7-liter Ram Jet fuel-injected V8 with less than 1,000 miles since installation. The engine is paired with a new TH350 automatic transmission, providing a straightforward and dependable drivetrain combination. A new aluminum radiator helps keep the V8 cool, while a new exhaust system gives the car an appropriate performance note. The engine compartment is nicely presented with polished components and a clean overall appearance.

The chassis has been extensively updated for a more modern driving experience. A RideTech four-link rear suspension is paired with new RideTech coilovers, while four-wheel disc brakes provide substantially improved stopping capability compared with the original setup. New wheels and tires complete the package and give the Bel Air its aggressive lowered stance.

Inside, the cabin retains the classic character of the 1955 Chevrolet while incorporating several welcome modern upgrades. Dakota Digital instrumentation provides clear, accurate readouts, while Vintage Air climate control adds modern heating and air conditioning. Power windows have been added, along with new electric windshield wipers and an American Autowire wiring harness. The red and light-colored upholstery complements the exterior while maintaining a period-inspired appearance.

Additional upgrades include a new stainless-steel fuel tank and fuel pump. The trunk floor has been modified with a drop section to accommodate the fuel system, and the car features new body panels as part of its build. Together, these updates make this Bel Air much more than a stock restoration, with the drivability and convenience expected from a thoughtfully built restomod.
