1957 Chevrolet Belair Conv. LS3 RESTOMOD This vehicle has been reported as being on display at a nightclub in Mississippi since the 1980s. The previous owner purchased it around 2015 and performed a meticulous ground up restoration on it. Our client purchased the vehicle in late 2017. Our customer desired more power so we were asked to convert it to a LS3 from the LS1 that was in the vehicle at that time. A NEW LS3 525HP and 4L70-E transmission were purchased from GM for the conversion. The conversion is well documented in our invoices that we will be supplying with the sale. Along with the engine we upgraded the suspension for increased traction, added larger front Wilwood brakes for stopping power, and upgraded the fuel lines and tank for the increased horsepower engine. All the engine and transmission electronics and wring are new. After installation the engine was custom dyno tuned for the best performance and drivability. The combination drives extremely well and is very comfortable and enjoyable. It has a gorgeous red finish with white vinyl convertible top. Red and grey stock interior. The exterior and interior are very stock looking, maintaining a very original period correct appearance. The under carriage is as beautiful as the rest of the vehicle. the only upgrades to the interior are upgraded stock appearing digital gauges, A/C, and upgraded radio all following a stock appearing theme.
