This 1953 Chevrolet 3100 pickup is a true work of art. With a very nice restoration, the pickup has been transformed into a one-of-a-kind masterpiece. The custom airbrushed patina paint job gives the truck a unique, vintage look that is sure to turn heads.

Under the hood, you’ll find a powerful 5.3L LS V-8 engine, the chrome throughout the truck has been completely replaced, as well as new glass and seals. The interior has been restored and features new seating, tilt column with a 15 inch 1959 Impala style steering wheel, Dakota Digital VHX gauges, paired with Mustang II front suspension.

The power rack and pinion steering and power disc brakes provide a smooth and responsive driving experience, while the adjustable AccuAir air ride suspension and 4-link rear suspension ensure a comfortable ride. About the Chevrolet Advance Design 3100:

The Chevrolet Advance Design was a series of full-size trucks produced by Chevrolet from 1947 to 1955. It was available in a variety of body styles, including a panel van, suburban, and pickup truck. The Advance Design trucks featured a new, more modern design, with improved visibility and better ride and handling. They were powered by a range of inline six and V8 engines, and were known for their durability and reliability. The Advance Design trucks were popular with both commercial and personal buyers and played a significant role in the growth of Chevrolet during the post-World War II period.

The series was launched as a 1947 model, using a design that had been initiated before World War II and was characterised by an integrated cab and cargo body and a wide hood extending over the front fenders. The line was offered in a wide range of configurations, including pickups, panel trucks, Suburbans, and a new type of vehicle, the cab-over-engine (COE) design, which was a commercial vehicle with the driver cab built over the front axle. The series was updated for the 1954 model year, but was replaced in 1955 by the Task Force series.
