Valkyrie is a beautiful, Italian version of a luxury lobster boat. She’s fast and comfortable and can also be operated quite economically when running “hull-down”. She has a top speed of around 32 knots and a high cruise speed at around 28 knots. A fairly deep vee provides very comfortable head sea running and the gyro stabilization keeps her stable in the trough. She turns heads wherever she goes.
The main deck feels very open because of nearly 180 degrees of windows. Sightlines from the helm are fantastic and a door just to port of the wheel enable easy short-handed operation. The aft deck is enormous and features an electrically actuated, retractable sunshade. The flying bridge is an easy trip upstairs from the aft deck and has another helm station.
As if four staterooms and heads weren’t enough on a 74-foot vessel, Valkyrie has accommodations for three crew in two crew staterooms with a full head in one and a half head in the other stateroom.
The transom folds out to provide access to the tender garage and makes into a huge swim platform.
