Case Diameter [mm]:
This watch is not just a classic Submariner—one of the most popular and iconic watches in the world—but a striking and collectible variant edition. The 16610 is one of the best known models and was first introduced in 1989, but it was relaunched in 2003 with the LV version that was intended to mark the Submariner's 50th anniversary. The LV is easily recognisable thanks to its unusual green bezel with maxi dial, giving it the affectionate nickname “Kermit”—although LV itself stands for Lunette Vert (“Green Bezel”). This particular watch is unusual for having a Y-series serial number, normally associated with pieces made in 2002—making it understandably very rare for this 2003 anniversary model, and highly sought by collectors. This Rolex has undergone a thorough inspection of water resistance, accuracy, functionality and condition to determine the level of reconditioning required to meet our strict standards. It has also been referenced against technical documents and manufacturer records where available to ensure authenticity and a clean history. This is a pre-owned Rolex Submariner 16610 LV. It has a 40mm Steel case, a Black dial, a Steel (Oyster) bracelet, and is powered by an Automatic movement. The case has a Y962xxx serial and paperwork is dated 18 November 2003, making it 14 years. It originated in United States, and comes complete with box. It is also supplied with a comprehensive 12 month Watchfinder warranty.
