The main housing of the pen is crafted in NTPT Carbon, a strong yet lightweight material with a unique appearance, with no two pieces the same, while the nib is crafted in 18K white gold.

The sapphire crystal viewing window in the barrel of the pen provides a glimpse of the intricate workings of the Richard Mille Calibre, the RMS05. This selfwinding skeletonised calibre, made predominantly of titanium is based on the same mechanical system as that of a minute repeater, it allows the nib of the pen to extend and retract.
