The Richard Mille RM 12-01 manual winding tourbillon in black carbon TPT and gold TPT is a stunning timepiece that seamlessly blends advanced materials and horological architecture. Richard Mille is renowned for his uncompromising approach to the use of materials and the extreme construction of his watches, and the RM 12-01 is no exception.

The limited edition Richard Mille RM 12-01 manual winding tourbillon in black carbon TPT and gold, it is created by using a technique where they layer sheets of gold in between layers of carbon and thus creating a damascene effect and the result is a unique timepiece. The lightweight tonneau shaped case measures 39.3 mm x 48.0 mm and 13.84 mm in thickness. Richard Mille again taking his inspiration from formula one race cars designed this unibody baseplate in carbon TPT, with both the caseband and baseplate being fused together to resemble a chassis. The highly stylised skeletonised bridges crafted from grade 5 titanium radiate from the centre of the dial, they encircle the barrel, the great wheel and the tourbillon. Complemented by a black rubber strap and secured with a titanium clasp. Water resistant up to 50 meters.

The Calibre RM 12-01 movement is highly robust and can withstand over 5,000 g’s of acceleration, making it suitable for use in extreme conditions. This movement provides functions that include hours and minutes and a power reserve of up to 70 hours.
