The manual winding Richard Mille RM 052 ”Skull” in titanium is a rare limited edition piece. It features the iconic skull design which has become a recogonisable symbol of the Richard Mille brand.

The tripartite tonneau shaped case is constructed from grade 5 titanium making the watch both strong and lightweight. Measuring 50.0 x 42.7 mm and 15.95 mm in thickness, it is assembled with 20 spline screws in grade 5 titanium. The skull shaped baseplate crafted in titanium is not purely a design element it is integrated into the movement with the upper and lower jaws holding the ruby of the tourbillon cage, whilst the back of the skull is actually the movement’s centre bridge. The four bridges that connect the movement to the case are arranged in a “skull-and-crossbones” pattern inspired by flags from pirate ships. Paired with a black rubber vented strap and secured with a titanium pin buckle.

The power behind this timepiece is the Calibre RM052 a manual winding tourbillon movement offering functions that include hours and minutes and a power reserve of up to 48 hours. Water resistant to 50 meters due to the application of two o-ring seals.
