The Richard Mille RM 050 Felipe Massa is an exquisite timepiece that combines advanced technology and exceptional craftsmanship to deliver unparalleled split seconds timing.

The tonneau shaped case measures 42.7 mm x 50.0 mm and 16.3 mm in thickness and is made of an extremely robust composite based on injected carbon nanotubes, a material that perfectly protects the movement and the tourbillon at its centre from impacts. Carbon nanotubes are extremely durable (two hundred times stronger than steel) and very light. They are capable of absorbing far stronger impacts than traditional carbon fibre due to their structure with its excellent surface-volume ratio. The case is created by injection moulding carbon nanotubes under high pressure into a black polymer.

The skeletonised dial allows the wearer to see the intricate inner workings of the movement. It features white Arabic numerals lumed dot hour markers and white gold hands treated with luminescence to enhance the legibility of the watch in low light conditions. The timepiece is complemented with a black vented band crafted in rubber and secured with a titanium folding clasp. The tripartite case is water resistant to 50 meters, ensured by two Nitril O-ring seals.

The watch is powered by a manual winding tourbillon movement known as the RMCC1, crafted in grade 5 titanium, weighing only 9.5 grams, and provides features such as a fast rotating winding barrel, balance with variable inertia, split-seconds chronograph, power reserve, torque and function indicators, and up to 70 hours of power reserve.

The RM 050 is a limited edition watch, with only 10 pieces produced.
