The iconic Aquanaut, first released in 1997, is an iconic watch for the modern age. It features a rounded octagon case, inspired by the Nautilus, and a “tropical” strap made of a composite material designed to be ultra-resistant to wear, salt water and UV radiation. Powered by a self-winding mechanical movement, this timepiece features a dual time zone mechanism, local and home day/night indications, local date by hand, and a sweep seconds hand. The case is made from steel and is water-resistant up to 120m. It has a screw-down crown and a sapphire crystal case back. The black embossed dial is held by a black polymer material Aquanaut fold-over clasp.
