Omega 2914 - 4 SC Railmaster, 2914-4SC, 2914-4, first series Railmaster from 1958, this reference is part of the holy trinity of Omega alongside the 2915 and 2913, the stainless steel case is in excellent original condition with the case being very thick and bold, very long Omega 7912 bracelet with 6 end links, Omega manual wind caliber 284 movement, original gilt & radium dial is in incredible original condition for its age, all patina is very clean and uniform, iconic broad arrow hands, metal bezel, original "flat foot" crown, omega crystal with logo still visible, Omega Seahorse caseabck is in excellent condition and very clear, original soft metal non ferrous movement cover for anti magnetic protection, size 38mm, thickness 12.7, Outstanding original condition for an Omega Railmaster 2914 Email us about this watch Trade for this watch $27,500 This is a very rare vintage 1958 stainless steel Omega Railmaster 2914 - 4 SC. It has an integral stainless steel Omega 7912 bracelet with 6 end links (rare), and an acrylic crystal. It has the original "flat foot" winding crown, and a screw down case back engraved with "RAILMASTER," the Seamaster horse emblem, and inside is the original soft metal non ferrous movement cover for anti magnetic protection. The 38mm diameter solid three-body case, curved lugs, and stepped bezel are polished/brushed. The original black dial has the gilt minute/second scale, radium ochre-colored dart hour indices, a steel broad arrow hour hand and a Dauphine minute hand with luminous inserts. There is a steel center sweep second hand, and luminous Arabic numeral hour markers at the quarter hours. The 12.7mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. This first series Omega Railmaster 2914 - 4 SC has a mechanical manual winding Omega caliber 284 movement. It's copper-colored, and constructed with 17 jewels, a shock absorber device, and a straight-line lever escapement. It includes a monometallic balance, a self-compensating flat balance spring, and an index regulator. The Omega Railmaster 2914 - 4 SC was launched in 1957. The second in the famous Omega “Master” trilogy of watches (along with the 2915 and 2913), it was designed for professionals who worked near magnetic fields. 2017 is the 60-year anniversary of the original Omega Railmaster,
