The Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso was created in 1931 to withstand polo matches, by reversing the case to reveal a back that fully protects the face of the watch.
This vintage Reverso timepiece from c. 1940 is presented with a stainless steel case that measures 24 by 38 mm. The art deco inspiration of the geometric case makes this an unmistakably classic timepiece. The case is mounted onto a black calfskin strap fitted with a tang buckle.
The watch is equipped with a hand-wound JLC movement. The cream-toned dial features central hours and minutes, and small seconds. The reverse steel back is clean and free from a monogram (most of the vintage Reverso have one).
The watch is offered in a pre-owned condition and includes a gift box.
