Description

Girard-Perregaux Triple Bridge Tourbillon, Silver Dial, Limited Edition to 50 Pieces - Rose Gold on Strap Super Exclusive & Extremely Rare TOURBILLON WITH THREE GOLD BRIDGES "Literally Speaks for Itself" Rare Model LIMITED EDITION TO AN EXCLUSIVE 50 PIECES WORLD-WIDE - Pink Gold Case - Case-back: Secured by 6 screws - Water Resistant to 30 meters (3 ATM) - Movement: GP09600-0022, Self-Winding mechanical movement - Caliber: 31,00mm - Jewels: 31 - Power Reserve: Min. 48 hours Movement: The Tourbillon with Three Gold Bridges adopts a classical shape for the bridges themselves: the same as those on the watch awarded the prize at the Paris Universal Exhibition in 1889. They have been reinterpreted in a version which imbues the watch with a highly contemporary purity. Their stunning perfection is the result of painstaking preparation: the bridges have been first bevelled, their arms rounded off and carefully polished by hand. It takes seven whole days of work to obtain an impeccable finish. The delicate Tourbillon also demands extreme attention to detail: an incredible dexterity is required to assemble its 72 components, all of which fit into a diameter of just one centimetre. It weighs 0.3 grammes - about the same as a swan's feather. Accompanying it is a self-winding system: a small-diameter platinum oscillating weight is fitted in the space below and around the barrel. This leaves the movement's dimensions and architecture intact. Also known as: Girard-Perregaux 99193, Girard-Perregaux 99193-52-002-BA6A, Girard Perregaux 99193-52-002-BA6A, 9919352002BA6A
