This is an 18K rose gold F.P Journe Chronometre Souverain. It has a leather strap with a matching rose gold tang buckle, and a scratch resistant sapphire crystal. The 40mm diameter solid three-body case, downturned lugs, and rounded bezel are polished. It has a screw down winding crown with a "rope" twist ring, and an exhibition sapphire display case back secured with 6 screws, and engraved with "F.P. JOURNE - CHRONOMETRE SOUVERAIN – INV. FECIT. – AU 750," and a serial number. The dial is silver with applied 18k rose gold Arabic numeral hour markers around a railroad-style perimeter minute/second track, and 18k gold Journe hands. There is a fan-shaped power reserve sector for the up-and-down indication at the 3 o'clock position, and a running small seconds subsidiary dial with black Arabic numerals and a gold indicator hand is between 7 and 8 o'clock. It's water resistant to 30 meters/100 feet, and there is a 56-hour power reserve at full wind. It includes a Certified Official Superlative Chronograph (COSC) certification. The 8.8mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed.
This F.P Journe Chronometre Souverain has a mechanical manual winding F.P. Journe caliber 1304 movement that's 18K rose gold, with fausses cotes embellishment. It's constructed with 22 jewels, a shock absorber mechanism, and a straight-line lever escapement. It includes a monometallic 4-arm balance adjusted to 6 positions with 4 eccentric timing weights, a self-compensating free sprung flat balance spring, twin barrels, and a gold wheel train. The mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 21,600 vph (3 Hz).
