5. Al Said, Sultanate Oman

The Al Said is a private yacht belonging to the Sultanate of Oman. With 155 meters, she is currently the fifth longest yacht worldwide. She was built by German shipyard Lürssen and was hand over in 2008. The Sultanate of Oman provides sultan Qabus ibn Said with the Al Said. The yacht can accommodate up to 65 guests and 150 crew members. The ship is spread over six decks.


4. Dilbar, Alisher Usmanow

The Dilbar was built as well by German shipyard Lürssen. With a total length of 156m, the Dilbar is on place 4 when it comes to the longest ships worldwide. The ship was built for Alisher Usmanow who replaced with the Dilbar his old ship (called Dilbar before, now Ona).
The vessel won the award “Motor of the year 2016” in the category “DIsplacement Motoryacht 3,000 GT and Above”


3. Dubai, Muhammad bin Raschid Al Maktum

Dubai is owned by Sheik Muhammad bin Rashid Al Maktum who is the ruler of the emirate Dubai. With 162 meters the Dubai is on place three of the longest vessels worldwide.
Initially, the building of the yacht started in 1995 on cooperation from Blohm +Voss and Lürssen. However, the production was stopped in 1997 and the ship was brought over to Dubai where Platinum Yachts FZCO continued building the ship and it was delivered in 2006. Dubai can accommodate up to 115 guests and 88 crew members.


2. Eclipse, Roman Abramowitsch

The Eclipse is with 162,50 meter the second longest yacht in the world. As you can see only 50 cm are dividing the third from the second place. The Eclipse was delivered in 2010 from Blohm + Voss to Roman Abramowitsch. Since start of construction the Eclipse was extended twice to be longer as the Dubai, which was the longest vessel at that time. Since 2011 you can charter the Eclipse from a company in Monaco. She has room for 36 guests and their entourage of 90 people.

The Azzam, owned by sheik Chalifa bin Zayid Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, is with 180 meter the longest private vessel in the world. In total the ship offer 7 decks full of luxury. Likewise the Eclipse, the Azzam has a submarine and a missle defense system included. Moreover, also a helip pad and a saloon with 520 square meter space are only a few highlights of the longest yacht in the world.
