Royal Palm Residence: A paradise in the Indian Ocean!

If there is one place in the world which deserves to be called paradise on earth then it is definitely Seychelles.  Not only it is one of the most popular honeymoon locations for newlyweds but also one of the most important hotspots for A-lister to buy a second home. Consisting out of 115 islands, Seychelles is the perfect place for island hopping. Some of the main benefits of this country are stable temperatures all year long, the wild nature with its beautiful vegetation, the laidback lifestyle and being a peaceful democratic country.  Much of the land is protected as part of nature reserves and offers a wide variety of rare animal species.
For those seeking tranquillity and never-ending white beaches,  there is no better place than Seychelles.

One of the most prestigious residential developments on Seychelles is the Royal Palm Residences.  The property won in 2014 the International Property Award for Best Architecture. The managing director Alex Ellenberger kindly answered us some questions regarding his development and the current outlook for the property market of Seychelles.

What makes Seychelles unique?

Culturally diverse and harmonious encapsulated in a friendly and welcoming nation. Beautiful weather all year round. Unparalleled natural beauty made up of granitic and coralline islands and clear azure waters.

Which kind of luxury amenities can owners expect at the Royal Palm Residences?

Royal Palm Residences considers privacy, security and a beautiful setting with stunning views to be its most precious qualities. As the property develops a wellness centre will be created drawing inspiration from local traditions using indigenous natural products.

Who lives in the area? Is it local buyers or foreign investors?

Royal Palm Residences is a delightful neighbourhood made of local as well as foreign owners.

What kind of lifestyle offers the Royal Palm Residences?

Secure, private, peaceful and serene. The beautiful natural setting offers walks in ancient forests and will appeal to those who like being close to nature.

How is the market doing currently, and what is the resale outlook?

Seychelles has recently defined more clearly its land policy and allowed foreigners to buy on the main island of Mahe. This has resulted in increased interest from foreign buyers in the country. The market overall is very positive and with the benefit of residence permits in the case of Royal Palm Residences, there is an added attraction for buyers. Securing a beautiful property in Seychelles is not easy, therefore resale outlook is always good.
