The G20 summit is just around the corner and leaders from all around the world had to find an adequate accommodation for themselves as well as their entourage.  Naturally, most of them decided to stay in luxurious five-star hotels in the center of the city. The delegation of Saudi Arabia is even going to rent out all 400 luxury suites of the Four Seasons hotel.

Rumor has it that Donald Trump had some trouble finding an accommodation for his stay in the Hanseatic city.

Eventually, it seems like he has finally found his white house in Germany.

Trump will be staying in the Hamburg Senate guest residence, which is a charming little villa built back in 1868. It is situated along the lake Alster and offers beautiful views over the water. This address might even be considered a better choice than a big luxury hotel, as it is more intimate and offers a better retreat area after the heated discussions that will take place during the day.

The neighborhood at the Alster is one of the most prestigious and expensive locations in Hamburg. Square meter prices start at €10,000 and Villas like this rarely hit the market.  You can find exclusive properties like this on JamesEdition.

The Hamburg Senate guest residence already accommodated celebrities like Charles and Diana, Henry Kissinger and the Dalai Lama. Due to the visit of Donald Trump, the area around the villa has already been transformed into a high-security area and will be observed from the water and ground 24/7.Source: image: Thomas Knoop
