The target this year is to present a new and improved version of the renowned industry event. Exhibitors from a total of 33 countries will showcase their creations.
IJL is always trying to bring the jewelry industry to life. At this year’s event, “Jewellery LIVE!” will provide visitors with a behind-the-scenes showcase of craftsmanship and technology. It’s a unique opportunity for buyers, store staff and industry newbies to see first-hand what it takes to actually make jewelry.
With a constant expansion of the digital world, traditional retail is faced with a challenge. The “Retail Experience Area” is supposed to inspire and inform about the opportunities and challenges involved in creating retail spaces for jewelry.
Trade shows are all about inspiring and preparing buyers and brands for the upcoming season. For the spring/summer season 2018, IJL is proposing five key trends, summarised by the following key words: “Chase the Rainbow”, “The Artisan”, “The Next Frontier”, “True Romance” and “Bridal – High Spirits”.
All trends will be showcased on the IJL catwalk three times throughout each day.
An extensive seminar schedule as well as various awards are a valuable addition to IJL. From “Editor’s Choice” to “Bright Young Gems”, the award categories cover all relevant areas and present the highlights and hidden gems of the show.
