At the Hamptons Classic you will see hundreds of riders competing in over 200 classes in six show rings. There are hunter, jumper and equestrian classes for the competitors. There are about 600 riders and 1,600 horses competing each year, so it is easy to see that this is a phenomenal equestrian event. There are so many beautiful horses and ponies here, especially seen are the warmblood breeds such as the Dutch Warmblood, Holsteiner, Oldenburg, Hannoverian, Belgian Warmblood, and Trakehner. You'll also see Thoroughbreds and even some former race horses, as well as some terrific pony breeds.
