The Geneva Motor Show continues until the 19th of March where our team joined the venue from the 9th to the 10th. We have spoken with a lot of brands, and companies and were even able to sit in some of the newest models on the show. Up next we would like to introduce you our top five of the Geneva Motor Show.
For car enthusiasts the Geneva Motor Show leaves no wishes open. Most of the cars are situated in the free area, so everyone who is keen to sit in one of the newest cars, can do so. Of course some of the cars, as for example Aston Martin, Ferrari, McLaren or Maserati were only open for business and special guests. Let’s start with our Top 5 from Geneva:
Of course the McLaren has to be in our Top 5. With the new model, the 720 S, McLaren retires his 650 S model. The name may indicates it, the new model has 720 PS and is in 2,9 seconds from 0-100 km/h. Highlight is the moving digital instrument cluster. The only minus we have:
You should not consider the 720 S if you are over 180 cm tall, as you might have problems fitting into the Car.
Lamborghini Huracan Performante
Lamborghini’s new supercar is the Huracan Performante. Having more carbon parts, this version is 40 kilos lighter than the normal Huracan. Furthermore it’s also faster than the normal Huracan, the Performante offers you 640 PS. In 2,9 seconds the Lamborghini
is from 0-100 km/h with a top speed from 325 km/h. Minimum price for this beast is around €232.000 and it is available from summer 2017 on.
introduced in Geneva the 812 Superfast as their new model. It’s the fastest road legal Ferrari. With 800 PS the 812 Superfast is just marginal faster than the F12 tdf. The rear design from the 812 is inspired by the GTC4 Lusso. We think Ferrari did well with this model, and therefore we would really consider buying this beauty.
Pagani Huayra Roadster
introduced their topless model, the Huayra Roadster. With 764 PS this automobile will give you a lot of fun. Pagani offers two different tops for the Roadster, one carbon top with a huge window and a soft top with carbon elements. Rumors are spread that the price is around €2,2 million. Only 100 units will be build and unfortunately all have already been sold. Luckily you are with JamesEdition. We have one on our site, click here
to see the Pagani Huayra Roadster on our site.
Last but not least is the Bugatti
Chiron. With 420 km/h this Bugatti is a true weapon. Moreover, this automobile is able to go from 0-100 km/h in only 2,5 seconds. Also this supercar is limited to 500 units, and 250 are already sold. Minimum price starts around €2,8 million, so this beauty definitely has it’s price.
Of course, these cars above are only our Top 5 impressions from Geneva 2017. Noteworthy are also the new Mercedes AMG GT-R, Artega, Porsche 911 GT3 and the Aston Martin Valkyrie. We think that for car lovers, the Geneva Motor Show is an absolute must go venue. You still have time until the 19th of March. Until then the Palexpo displays all the automobiles in Geneva!
