The Estate has the M3 to the south and the A34 to the west making access very easy from London (70 miles) and the coast.  The M3 is audible from the gardens of the house and the southerly banks, and the A34 is similar from the west banks but they do not remove from the tranquillity provided by the near perfect surroundings.
