Constructed entirely from marlstone in 1825 by the Maastricht banking family Tielens, it is nestled within a beautifully landscaped park-like garden. Architectural Highlights

The high arched doors and windows are characteristic of the Gothic style. The soft yellow hue of the marlstone imparts a majestic appearance, emblematic of Valkenburg. Upon entering through the gate, you are embraced by the serene garden spanning 2,930 m².
