House in Tricase, Puglia, Italy
Majestic Castle Dating Back To 1524
A masterpiece of military architecture of the 1500s, the Castle of Caprarica, in the historic Salentine town of Tricase, is very fascinating due to its classic rectangular plan with 4 cylindrical towers at the corners and its harmonic and imposing proportions are surprising at the same time. Perfectly restored and preserved, with great attention to detail, protected by its walls over 6 meters high, it hides inside a private garden and a large park of over 1 hectare with a beautiful infinity pool, as well as two large outbuildings and a beautiful dovecote. The main body of the Castle, divided into two floors, offers a beautiful view of the rooms around the private garden, where a large patio allows to enjoy them all year round. The splendid and large kitchen is modernly equipped for welcoming many guests and the large and functional service areas complete the ground floor of the residence. On the first floor, there are three large bedrooms with their respective bathrooms and many closets and wall cupboards. The two annexes, independent and far from each other, are respectively composed of four and three bedrooms with their respective bathrooms, as well as many living rooms. A large patio with a kitchen near the pool offers the possibility to gather with the family shaded from the warm sunshine. Very close to the wonderful Tricase coast of a little more than a hour from Brindisi airport, the Castello is a prestigious residence in one of the most authentic areas of Italy.
