Welcome to Bjønntjønn 297 - Agent Lars Jakob Aarak at PrivatMegleren Park is delighted to present this beautiful cabin in scenic surroundings.

This is a dream location for those seeking tranquility in rural surroundings.

Agent Lars Jakob is from Treungen and has extensive knowledge and enthusiasm for the area. He can provide advice and tips on popular hiking trails, swimming spots, ski trails, and more, as well as local craftsmen, building supplies, or alarm services. Feel free to give him a call for a pleasant chat about the cabin and the area.

Just outside the cabin, everything is set for both children and adults to enjoy their vacation in the cabin.

During the summer, there are numerous hiking trails in the vicinity, beautiful berry-picking areas, swimming opportunities, and fishing lakes. At the nearby Bjønntjønn lake, you can swim and fish, and there’s even the possibility to borrow a canoe for a lovely paddling trip. The area around the lake is well-maintained by the landowner and offers pleasant resting spots. There are also several pleasant communal areas in the area for cabin owners to meet and enjoy themselves if desired.

In winter, there are groomed ski trails right by the cabin, providing access to many fantastic trails and areas. The majority of the ”Gautefallheia” area is accessible from the groomed ski trails. If desired, you can ski all the way to Gautefall skisenter on the groomed trails. Gautefall offers various activities for the whole family.

Just a few minutes’ drive away, you’ll find the well-known Gautefall Skisenter, which offers several ski slopes of different levels of difficulty.

Here’s what ”skiinfo” says about Gautefall Skisenter:

”Gautefall Skisenter is one of the largest ski resorts in Telemark, centrally located in southern Norway on Gautefallheia, between Drangedal and Nissedal/Treungen. Gautefall is a compact ski resort with excellent accommodation options. It is a family destination with a focus on children and families. Gautefall Skisenter has 14 slopes, 2 chairlifts (a 6-seater express lift and a 2-seater chairlift), 3 ski tows, and a 125m conveyor belt, with a total capacity of approximately 7,000 people per hour. Gautefall has snowmaking facilities to ensure good conditions throughout the winter. The Handsfree Snowpass allows efficient passage through all checkpoints. The terrain park features many small jumps, big jumps, and plenty of rails. The children’s park has a conveyor belt, ski school, and activities. Gautefall’s ski school has Scandinavian ski instructors who offer lessons in all forms of skiing and snowboarding. The area has machine-groomed and marked cross-country ski trails easily accessible. Gautefall also offers a 4.3 km ski arena for biathlon with 31 targets, which is open with floodlights throughout the year.”

From Bjønntjønn Fjellgrend, it’s approximately 5 km to Treungen, where you’ll find shops, cafes, banks, doctors, dentists, and more.

Nissedal is known for many things, including its bike-friendly terrain with excellent opportunities for mountain biking. There are 100 kilometers of marked trails, with many of them running along beautiful rocky areas up in the mountains. A trip around Nisser, covering about 40 kilometers, offers easy biking terrain along the water and a short trip with Norway’s smallest cable ferry (which is an attraction in itself) across Fjonesundet.

Nisser, Tjørull, and Nidelva are a paradise for paddlers. Furthermore, those who love swimming can visit Jettegrytene, nature’s own water park. This hidden gem features giant potholes and natural water slides made of rock. It’s definitely worth a visit for the whole family on a warm summer day.
