“It’s a palace on a smaller scale”.
That’s the way this five-storey building was viewed when it was completed in 1886. Located at Sturegatan 58, next to Sture Park, in the garden city neighbourhood of the Östermalm district, it was inspired by the Beaux-Arts architecture of Milan, Berlin and Paris. CA Fastigheter have retained the firms of Whyte Lilja Arkitekter and Lomar Arkitekter, which have restored the building to its former magnificence by emphasizing its original qualities, and creating apartments for contemporary living with high ceilings and international quality. The results are 21 spacious units that feel like private homes, two penthouses that gaze over the roofs of Stockholm, and two unique townhouses, each with its own private garden.
