State and finishing

The original structure, dating from the 1700s, has been subject to careful restoration, using only traditional and natural materials such as stone, wood and iron, as well as recovering the old furniture.
Outside there are areas with exposed stone walls, rescued and complete with stone from the area, characterised by the long-lasting glaze used at the time. The roofing, which is newly built, has been done with natural wooden beams and planking, soaked in water and not solvent-based products, and with bioecological insulation which guarantees suitable energy efficiency. The roof tiles have been recovered from old buildings.
The floors are part hand-made recycled tiles, and part stoneware tiles from the Cotto d’Este.
The farmstead is surrounded by more than 43 hectares of land, of which around 42 hectares is ancient olive grove.
In the grounds surrounding the buildings there are paved areas intended for relaxation with sofas and seating, a pretty landscaped garden, with the swimming pool and gazebos that create pleasant shaded areas with beach chairs and loungers, the bar, and finally a car park.
Use and potential uses
The property, thanks to its hilly and well-placed position in relation to the important sights of the Gargano and Puglia and to its size, is ideal both as an impressive private residence and as a location for shows and events, with the possibility of using part of the farmstead as a private residence and the rest, including the external spaces, the spa, the bar and the outbuilding, for tourist accommodation.
