During the 15th Century, this majestic property was one of the representative seats bound with the activities of the Duke of Este, nowadays it represents a rare example of prestigious historic dwelling belonging to only one noble and important family, even mentioned by Dante in his Purgatorio. This recent and careful restoration, for which the owner required the most important experts and contemporary technicians, has led to the discovery of valuable artistic elements within the building, such as the stunning coffered ceilings and the frescoes on the noble floor.
