This zero-energy villa designed by Jakub Cigler combines a peaceful lifestyle on golf course premises with great accessibility to Prague city center. The project’s principal benefit is its location within the private Yard Golf Resort. The resort offers residents several additional services, including round-the-clock security, resort membership for the entire family and a first-class restaurant.
This modern, environmentally friendly, zero-energy home lies just a few kilometers beyond the Prague city limits. The two-story villa is built on the grounds of a golf course and offers a floor area of 256 m² (2,750 sq ft) with almost another 100 square meters (1,000 sq ft) of outside terrace. The design combine glass walls with red cedar wood paneling. The organic materials used respect the natural surroundings, while the panoramic windows ensure plenty of sunlight and a connection to the greenery outside.
The villa has seven luxurious rooms, including three bathrooms; there is also a technical room. If you prefer you can order the house to be handed over as shell and core only. Should you wish to customize the interior of your new property, the developer’s architects are at your disposal. The villa is designed with minimum energy consumption in mind and fully conforms to zero-energy home standards. Its well-insulated walls, high-grade three-chamber windows along with air circulation and energy recovery systems also keep utility costs to a minimum. The home has a private garden of nearly 2 hectares (5 acres) and a spacious double garage. The residential section of the complex is separated from public areas by a private gated driveway.
