Norefjell is a beautiful and idyllic mountain area just a 1.5-hour drive from Oslo. The area offers a fantastic combination of a rich array of activities and peaceful mountain serenity throughout the year.
It’s a short distance from the popular ski resort on Norefjell with a total of 14 ski lifts and 30 slopes, and it is continuously developing. The ski resort hosted the alpine skiing competitions during the 1952 Olympics and is steeped in ski history. It features a floodlit activity slope for tobogganing and skiing fun, a terrain park, and a children’s area with its own lift, as well as an outdoor ice skating rink. During the summer, there are several beautiful hikes with marked trails to destinations such as Augunshaug (1341 m above sea level) and Høgevarde (1459 m above sea level).
