Contemporary Cool: Edition Antonius Schimmelbusch In Van B

The rooftop flat with a private roof garden was designed by Melissa Antonius and Lena Schimmelbusch as the ”City Hayloft”. Their concept is inspired by the red and rust tones of the surrounding rooftops as well as the copper-colored facade elements by Van B.

The combination of custom-made furniture by Julien Budnik (Handwerk Designs from Berlin) with fabrics from the renowned Spanish manufacturer Gaston y Daniela creates a distinctly pleasant atmosphere. Furniture with sculptural shapes, different surfaces and textures visually divide space and area while making the most of it. Wall colors by Farrow & Ball create the illusion that walls are closer or further away. ”City Hayloft” - an international, contemporary cool and urban concept, with the best qualities and high functionality.
