This beautiful typically Salento Masseria is born from the restoration of an eighteenth-century historical nucleus expanded over the years through lateral annexes that gave it this form to the court. The linear appearance of the entrance door brings back to the simplicity of the agricultural structures that are typical of this territory. The recent and careful renovation has left the original elements unchanged, which have been restored respecting the traditional techniques of the Salento architecture. The large living room, which welcomes us immediately after the entrance witnesses this care in conservation: the large fireplace with friezes in Lecce stone and the barrel vaults bring us back to the atmosphere of the original uses of the Masseria, even with the current comfort standard. The large industrial kitchen can be suitable for both receptive uses and to the needs of a private representative residence. The large courtyard shaded by trellis and furnished with sofas and armchairs welcomes us for a refreshing break in the warmer seasons. The eleven rooms, each with its own bathroom, are completely independent and modernly furnished. The beautiful and large pool of about 100 sqm is surrounded by large and comfortable spaces to relax and sunbathe. All around, among prickly pears and olive trees, an ancient fence of typical dry-stone walls delimits the inhabited space of the Masseria, surrounded by lands that extend for about 2.5 hectares perfectly cultivated. An hour from Brindisi airport, half an hour from Lecce, fifteen minutes from the beautiful beaches of Otranto, the Masseria is in a perfect position to welcome the most demanding tourists or those who want a second representative residence.
