Historical 1860 patronal house located in
Rinconada de Los Andes. Magical trip through time, our history and the
arquitecture of the past. Its construction, Chilean-styled home, with 70 cm
thick adobe walls, where all dormitories and spaces are connected to the
central patio, with lovely garden and water source. The house keeps, almost
completely, its original materials, such as poplar and oak beams; cobblestone
floor and poplar boards. The exterior walls of the central patio were painted
with details of bull blood, to give it pigmentation, a distinction of the era.
On the inside, it has a roof height of 5 meters. Its wooden doors, aged, are
also original. The dining room features hand-painted wallpaper. Currently, it
counts with 5 dormitories, 5 bathrooms (non-original, remodeled in 1995), 2
kitchens, dining and living room, a closed gallery as living and dining room.
Apart from that, it counts with various dormitories, which are used as
pantries, ironing room, cellars, including grocer's shop, original kitchen with
no use and lumber room. The ample park is highlighted, with approximately 176
fruit trees and species such as Beech, Lebanese Cedar, American Oak, Ginkgo,
Araucaria, Hazel, Quillay, Birch, amongst others. In the zone featuring the
gallery, outside it, a garden with a pool. The property counts with rights to
water for watering and potable water.
