This home was designed by award winning architect, George Elphick of Elphick Proone & Associates, who have combined style and luxury with African culture to create a unique escape. 4 large en-suite bedrooms all flowing out onto high balconies allows one to enjoy the rolling hills privately from a comfy chair or even bed if you want laze around. Various indigenous woods have been used throughout giving one the feel of truly being in the bush. The design is open plan with a viewing deck, for private sundowners as well as swimming pool to cool off during the heat of the day.
Stories of the days adventure are shared sitting under the stars at the raised boma area around a crackling fire while sipping on your favourite drink. The silence broken every few minutes by the local hippos grunting or Fiery necked Nightjars calling to the full moon.
Overlooking a water pan frequented by many animals, one can expect to see rhino, elephant, lion and many other animals from the comfort of your chair or daybed. The lodge contains all of the modern comforts, but rendered in a distinctly natural pallet, to pay respect to the amazing natural beauty that is a privilege to be part of. Given the remote location, it has a backup generator and water tanks. The lodge is serviced & maintained as part of the reserve and it is being sold with a game vehicle as well as an additional piece of land which can be either sold as is or used to build another lodge.
