Located on the southern end of Great Guana Cay in the Abacos, Nowhere Cottage sits atop an impressive 30 ft cliff overlooking the Abaco Sound. Comprising approximately 1.3 acres of lush native forest, with views of both sides of the island, “Nowhere” offers privacy and incredible views, with an 80 ft dock on the Sea of Abaco.
The 1400 sq ft cottage is well-positioned to take advantage of the view and offers 3 bedrooms and 2 baths, with painted cypress interiors and easy-to-clean ceramic tile throughout. The home has been recently updated with new elastomeric roof coating and freshly painted walls inside and out.
Built on this prominent bluff, overlooking the sea and dock, is an expansive sun deck with bench seating and stairs leading leading down to the shore. The dock extends out to offer 6 ft of draft at low tide, with 40 ft of face dock and plenty of room to add a boat lift.
Access to one of the most stunning beaches in the country is just a short walk away, and a 5-minute golf cart ride to town provides access to markets, restaurants, marinas, and services.
A boater's paradise, Guana Cay is approximately 185 miles east of West Palm Beach, Fla., 110 miles north of Nassau and easily accessible by ferry from Marsh Harbour which welcomes direct daily flights from Fort Lauderdale, Miami, West Palm Beach, Daytona, New Smyrna and Atlanta. With only about 150 residents living on the island year-round, Guana Cay is the perfect spot for building an island hideway where you can disconnect and enjoy world-class sailing, snorkeling, diving, and fishing off the third largest barrier reef in the world.
