The villa is located in the heart of the Chianti region about 2 km from the town center, 30 km from Florence and Siena and is set in a rural context, characterized by a hilly landscape with various crops. The property also enjoys proximity to the main communication route. It can be reached very easily the Florence-Siena motorway link.
The property consists of a main building and another in the south, a former stable and coach house. On the north side, near the large oaks, there are cellars and warehouses. The villa is spread over 3 floors in addition to the basement where there are the main kitchen and several large reception rooms with ancient frescos, historical coats of arms, including the ballroom with vaulted ceilings entirely frescoed and enriched with period furnishings. The villa was initially built in the late 1500s, then it was enlarged over time. The long baroque facade with clock and family crest was completed in 1700. The style is reminiscent of the Florentine houses of the 1600s.
