This unique property is a small hamlet originally dating to the 17th century. The buildings are low cottage style on two floors in local stone, the main houses being lime rendered externally. The current division is into two independent units. The door to the main house opens into a spacious sitting room with traditional working fireplace, kitchen, and passage to large panoramic glass-fronted living room of about 40 sq.m., with twin doors leading to outside stone patio. A wood staircase leads to the upper floor, which has two double bedrooms and a bathroom. Adjoining the building, but currently not connected, are a vaulted cellar and chestnut drying room on the ground floor, and two rooms on the upper floor. The second house has an open space living room with kitchen. Upstairs there are two double bedrooms, a third small bedroom and a bathroom. Adjoining this building is a large room, independently accessed, on ground level with door off to bathroom/laundry room. Above this is a spacious room featuring charming exposed chestnut beams, accessed externally from rear of building. The houses and buildings are all rendered easily accessible via extensive stone patios which form a connecting level, and lead to the swimming pool of 11 x 5.5 m with solarium. A third separate outbuilding is entirely stone build, it consists of two floors and is structurally sound but requires internal restoration. The property offers the rare feature in a hilly area of extensive private gardens which are unusually flat, and large tracts of woodland on all sides, ensuring stunning views. The main dwellings and gardens are fenced and gated, with room for several cars. The property is walking distance from the beautiful medieval hilltop town of Coreglia Antelminelli and just 45 minutes by car from Lucca.

Lucca, a fortified town rising amidst vineyards and olive trees in the hills of Tuscany, is one of the main art cities in Italy. The most important European textile center since the Middle Ages, it keeps track of a rich history in the elegant and majestic villas with magnificent parks outside the walls, that once were the residences of the wealthy families active in the silk trade. What amazes most the visitors, however, are the Renaissance walls of the XV century surrounding the historic core of the city. The works promoted in the XIX century by Elisa Bonaparte Baciocchi, in honor of her brother Napoleon, led to the current structure of the central square Piazza Napoleone. The city also boasts many medieval churches of great architectural impact which make it gain the nickname of “the City of 100 Churches”. Lucca is one of the prides of Tuscany for its beauty and enchanting atmosphere and, thanks to this, many foreign visitors, after visiting the city and admiring its culture, choose it as a place to establish their second residence.
