Palazzo Odescalchi

In the heart of the city we propose the very elegant Palazzo Odescalchi from the second half of the seventeenth century. Within the same we propose different solutions, among which the very important property of the first floor stands out with its magnificent rooms, the monumental fireplace and the stuccoes by G.B. Barberini di Laino in Val d'Intelvi in addition to the frescoes of the Recchi brothers; with the excluded porches, staircase and loggia.
The dating of the decorative intervention can be deduced, in addition to technical stylistic evaluations, from the presence in the decorations of references to historical facts in which Benedetto Odescalchi elected Pope Innocent XI in 1676 had the leading role. At the center of the vault of the staircase is an eagle with a tiara with the papal keys in its claws.
