Top 10 hypercars on JamesEdition

Nowadays cars can be divided into an endless amount of categories, reaching from luxurious to dynamic and anything in between. But the category that overshadows all others, that every kid dreams of, the category with the most extreme cars overall, is the Hypercar category. These cars stand out through extreme power, rarity and, of course, prices.
We are proud to be able to offer one of the largest selections of Hypercars here on JamesEdition and for your convenience, we decided to name all these cars in one list, so you can choose your personal favourite.

The Italdesign Zerouno is a car by the design studio Italdesign. As they are only a design studio, the Zerouno is technically based on the Lamborghini Huracan. The new bodywork is completely formed of carbon fibre, resulting in a low weight hypercar. The Zerouno is only being built 5 times, completely customized to the owners' wishes. Also, all 5 cars have been sold immediately so this car is likely to be the only one to ever be up for sale.

The McLaren P1 is part of the holy trinity, meaning that it is one of the three hypercars, that have around 1000 PS from a combustion engine and an electric engine. This and the price of well over 1 million Euro definitely make this car a hypercar.

The Ferrari LaFerrari is Ferrari's latest hyercar. It has a hybrid engine setup and almost 1000 PS, making it part of the holy trinity and Ferrari's fastest road legal car ever. Because it is limited to only 499 units, the factory price of just over a million Euros almost tripled since its release.

The Porsche 918 Spyder is Porsche's hybrid hypercar. It is part of the so called "holy trinity" together with the Ferrari LaFerrari and McLaren P1. It set the official record for production cars on the Nürburgring, while having the advantage of a removable roof.

Koenigsegg is one of the few companies that only produce hypercars. Therefore all their models are extremely limited, so production numbers of less than 10 are no rarity. Koenigseggs are famous for their extremely good power to weight ratio and designs that can be highly customized. This Agera gives an impression of how Koenigsegg's design language works while not being too customized.
United Arab Emirates
In 1992, Horacio Pagani, who has previously been working for Lamborghini as a designer, decided to found his own company. Ever since then, Pagani produces extraordinaire hypercars by hand. Pagani has not always built the fastest cars, however they are very fast, but their designs have been exceptionally beautiful. Since every Pagani is handmade the availability is very limited as well. This Huayra is an example of Pagani's latest model. Next to this silver one there is also a Tricolore Edition here on JamesEdition with visible blue carbon and Itaian coloured stripes.

Due to its power of 1001 PS and a top speed of over 400 km/h, the Bugatti Veyron itself is a Hypercar. In this case Mansory took it even further and created a limited custom version with a lot of visible carbon and new design elements. Its self-confident name is Vincero, which is Italian for "I will win".

The first car in this list with a front-mid-engine setup is the Aston Martin One-77. As the name implements it has only been built 77 times in Aston Martin's facilities in Gaydon, Warwickshire. This particular One-77 is a Q Series model, meaning that it is part of 7 exclusive cars that have been specialized with a lot of carbon fiber, a header-mounted track-day HD video camera, a luggage rack, and a forged, diamond turned wheel. The exclusivity and value are mostly what makes this car a hypercar but also its beautiful design that definitely stands out.

After setting the world record for the fastest production car with the Veyron and producing it for 10 years, Bugatti had to make the Chiron even more advanced. Featuring a 1500hp W16 engine and an electronically limited top speed of 420km/h this goal has definitely been met. In order to improve the performance over the previous model, the engine and aerodynamics have been completely reworked. Unlike most hypercars, that are focused on speed only, the Chiron combines sheer power and driving performance with a comfortable ride and a luxurious interior.

While most hyper cars also stand out through their sheer power, the Ferrari Sergio finds its way into this list through its extraordinaire design and extreme exclusivity. With "only" 600 PS the Sergio is not as strong as you would expect a hyper car to be but the limitation to 6 specimens and sale by invitation only make up for that.
