Costruita dalla famiglia Simi, importanti mercanti locali che commerciavano marmo, nel 1700 la villa passò alla nobile famiglia Pisani e fu ampliata e ricostruita nel 1778. Circondata da bellissimi giardini all’italiana disposti su due livelli, che si sviluppano per 4000 mq all’interno di un incantevole scenario paesaggistico boschivo, si trova la dimora principale con i suoi annessi. La pianta della villa presenta una forma ad U, con una superficie di circa 500 mq che si distribuisce su due livelli ed un seminterrato di circa 80 mq. Al piano terra della dimora principale troviamo un ampio ingresso, una magnifica cappella consacrata, ripostiglio, bagno, biblioteca, sala da pranzo e cucina. Built by the Simi family, important local merchants who traded marble, in 1700 the villa passed to the noble Pisani family and was enlarged and rebuilt in 1778. Surrounded by beautiful Italian gardens arranged on two levels, which extend over 4000 sq. m. inside. of an enchanting wooded landscape, there is the main residence with its annexes. The plan of the villa has a U-shape, with an area of about 500 sq. m. which is distributed on two levels and a basement of about 80 sq. m. On the ground floor of the main house there is a large entrance, a magnificent consecrated chapel, closet, bathroom, library, dining room and kitchen. Two stairs lead to the upper floor where there is a beautiful living room, four bedrooms, walk-in closet, office, bathroom and three closets. The basement houses the cellar, once used for winemaking with the original beaten earth floor still intact, storage room and laundry. The property features two natural stone paved terraces and two Italian gardens arranged on two levels and a delightful pond with goldfish and lilies. On the eastern side of the house, next to the chapel, there is a garden with medicinal plants, aromatic herbs and various citrus trees.
