Day 1 – Tokyo: Arrival transfer and day at leisure

Overnight at the Mandarin Oriental Tokyo

Day 2 – Tokyo: Full Day visit

Dive into the vibrant Tsukiji fish market, stroll the peaceful Hamarikyu Garden and rest on boat cruise to Asakusa before reaching the Sensoji Temple and Nakamise dori merchant street.

Discover Tokyo’s busy fashion streets in Harajuku. Transfer to Roppongi Hills and visit the Mori Art Museum and the observation deck on 52nd Floor.

Day 3 - Tokyo to Takayama: At Leisure

Transfer in a private chartered vehicle to Tokyo station, with escort onto the platform. Board a “bullet-train” in first-class to Nagoya and change for a scenic ride through the Japanese Alps to Takayama (4 hours).

Transfer to your Ryokan and enjoy the afternoon at leisure, strolling in the well preserved Sanmachi area.

Enjoy your own private hot-spring bath and a gourmet Kaiseki Dinner served in the comfort of your room.

Day 04 - Takayama to Kanazawa: Full-day visit

Stroll the farmers’ morning market and visit the impressive Takayama Yatai Kaikan – float museum.

Transfer to Shirakawa-go (1 hour), an ancient village recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Transfer to Kanazawa (1.5 hour) and check-in at the ANA Crowne Plaza hotel.

Day 5 – Kanazawa: Full-day visit

Start with the magnificent Kenrokuen garden, one of Japan’s most beautiful gardens. Then, explore the Higashi-chaya “Geisha” district with a private visit of a Geisha “Tea House” and unique encounter.

Finally, discover one of Kanazawa’s ancient & prestigious Sake breweries for a private visit and degustation.

Day 6 - Kanazawa to Yamashiro Onsen: morning visit & afternoon at leisure

Walk in the ancient district of Nagamachi and visit Nomurake, a former Samurai House.Explore the Kanazawa 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art and enjoy Lunch at the Omicho Market offering the freshest seafood from the Sea of Japan.

Transfer to Yamashiro Onsen (1 hour) and check-in at Araya Tototan. Enjoy the peaceful environment your private hot-spring bath. A Gourmet Kaiseki dinner will be served in the comfort of your room.

Day 7 - Yamashiro Onsen to Kyoto: Afternoon visit

Private transfer to Kaga station in private vehicle and take a direct train to Kyoto (2 hours).

Upon arrival, meet your private guide and visit the Kinkaku-ji temple, covered in Gold leaves and the serene Ryoan-ji temple, famed for its rock garden inviting to meditation.

Overnight at Hyatt Regency Kyoto

Day 8 – Kyoto: Full-day visit

Start at the Sanjusangendo Hall and marvel at its 1001 statues of Kannon, the goddess of mercy before taking in magnificent views of Kyoto at the Kiyomizu-dera Temple.

After Lunch, transfer to Nijo Castle, built by Tokugawa Ieyasu, founder of the Edo shogunate. Terminate your visit in the “Geisha district” of Gion, famed for the preservation of its traditional architecture and traditional entertainment

Day 9: Nara – Full day visit

Start your visit from Nara Park, home to hundreds of freely roaming deers before visiting the Kasuga Shrine with its numerous bronze and stone lanterns. Move on to the gigantic Todaiji temple, the largest wooden buildings in the world and home to the giant statue of Buddha Virocana.

Finish your Nara tour in Naramachi, the former merchant district of Nara, featuring several traditional warehouses and residential buildings. Drive back to Kyoto and reach your hotel by 17.00 pm

Day 10: Departure transfer to Kansai International Airport:

Transfer in a chartered vehicle with an English speaking driver to Kansai International Airport and check-in. Board your international flight and enjoy your onward journey.
