The Rolls-Royce Phantom Drophead is the convertible version of the Rolls-Royce Phantom. Introduced in 2007, the drophead coupè is the optimal travelling car for an extraordinary customer who rather wants to drive his car himself than being driven. It combines the comfort and luxury of a Rolls Royce with the benefits of a roofless cruiser. Next to the Drophead Coupe there is also a Phantom Coupe which is the closed two-door version of the Phantom. A special feature that was offered for this model is the unique interior lighting that looks like a starry sky. In 2016 production of the Phantom got stopped. The convertible offered by Rolls Royce now is the Dawn which is mostly based on the Rolls Royce Wraith two-door luxury sports coupe.
