Car Description

2003 Porsche 911 GT2 (996) 6-Speed Coupe: A Worldwide Count of Around 1,287 Examples Left Stuttgart from the Production Years of 2002 to 2005, with Approximately 303 Units Having Reached the U.S, While Only 90 Out of the 303 U.S Designated GT2s Had the 2003 Model Year Designation. Wonderfully Maintained and Presenting GT2 Displaying a Clean CARFAX Report an Odometer Reading of an Immensely Low 5, XXX Miles from New and is Shown in Arctic Silver Metallic with a Cabin finished in Natural Leather in Grey with One of the Cabin's Prominent Equipment Highlights being a Porsche Tech Equipment Roll Bar. Based on the 911 Turbo from its generation, the GT2 turns the driver's desire knob to the highest level -- its 456-horsepower rated (up 43-hp over the Turbo), 911 GT1 derived Mezger engine left the factory with size-increased turbos and intercoolers, a redeveloped ECU, revamped intake and exhaust system, while only being offered only in RWD and true 6-speed manual guise and solely driven by way of your complete and undivided attention, as the presence of any form of stability and traction control aids are non-existent. The 996 GT2 represents the last of the modern-era, motorsports-infused, theatrically unadulterated super sportscars, whose main idea is geared towards the driver who prefers pure driving pleasure to the highest extent without the involvement of digital intervention...and yet can still be daily driven, if so chosen to. Upon sight, its maximum velocity and adrenaline visual presence cause for a copious amount of endorphins to be released -- the almost wet-finish of the glistening Arctic Silver Metallic hue nearly drips to the ground as it alluringly amplifies its sensual Coke-bottle posture; an assertive and aerodynamically inclined front bumper, whose lower region aids in creating supplemental downforce to the GT2's front end, while atop the bumper sits a lift minimizing and suction heightening horizontal air vent; yellow calipers peeking through the BBS produced 18-inch "Turbo Twist" wheels, signifies the existence of the increased-handling-by-way-of-reducing-unsprung-weight PCCB braking setup; while to rear sits the notable fixed spoiler, that's positioned in a way that allows for a rise in downforce when speed escalates (which happens expeditiously). The hype and hysteria only continue when entering the Natural Grey Leather upholstered cabin, where you're met by the presence of a roll bar, for added rigidity; the deletion of the rear seats, to lessen weight; Carbon Fiber on select interior surface areas, such as on the parking brake lever and on the shift knob of the gearshift lever that offers direct, short throws; a Carrera GT channeled, 3-spoke and leather-wrapped steering wheel situated in front of the aluminum-colored instrumentation dials, where you'll immediately become acquainted with the centrally located tachometer, whose orange needle RAPIDLY ascends to the redline like a freight train as you become welcomingly suctioned against the body embracing sport seats, featuring an embossed Porsche Crest in each headrest. This GT2 featured an original MSRP of $187,820 with a build sheet listing the following equipment: Natural Leather Grey; Wheel Caps with Colored Crest; Cruise Control; Natural Grey Floor Mat; Arctic Silver Metallic; Natural Leather Code - PAG; Porsche Crest in Headrest; Brake/Shifter Carbon/Aluminum; Aluminum/Chrome X71,X70,X54.
