The SLR 722 Edition is a special version of the Mercedes-Benz McLaren SLR, which was produced as a collaboration between Mercedes-Benz and McLaren. This special edition has 25PS more than the standard SLR and it has a few carbon parts around the body that make it look slightly more sporty. it also carries red 722 signs above the side vents. The 722 is an iconic number for this car because it was the starting number of the 300SL R at the Mille Miglia in the 1950s and the SLR is an homage to that car. Therefore the 722 was great fitting for this limited special model. Only 300 cars were made, 150 coupes and 150 convertibles. The coupe is called SLR 722 Edition and the convertible is called SLR 722 S.
