The Maybach 57 is an ultra-luxurious sedan that was built based on the Mercedes S-Class. The “57” stands for the length of the car in decimeters. It is the shorter version of the Maybach models and it is therefore more likely to be owner-driven than the 62. The Maybach 57 and 62 shared the same two engines. The normal 5.5-litre V12 engine and the 6.0 litre “S” engine. The S stands for “Special”. A special edition of the 57 and 62 has been the “Zeppelin” version. The Zeppelin was a limited edition that included the S engine with an extra power upgrade, a special interior design, 20-inch chrome wheels and dark-red taillights.
